Warning: this is gonna be a long one.Swore by the tick twister for years. Lost the smallest sized one so when I saw this kit, decided to upgrade.Nothing less fun than trying to pull ticks off a dog’s ‘sensitive areas’. Well, trying to hold a dog still to squeeze anal glands is mos def LESS fun.My dog has a corkscrew, inverted tail and the ticks like to burrow in all those crevices. The tick twister allows me to ‘rake’ a tick out of such a crevice. And those needle nose or alligator forcep type tweezers are perfect for working in those tiny spaces as well.We spend summers in Maryland so our wooded backyard has ticks. I check myself, dogs, visitors daily.Dog started coming in loaded with ticks every day which I thought represented failure of his Revolution heartworm (multi pest) prevention. So I gave him his monthly treatment a couple days early yet continued to pick the ticks off.We drove home to Florida and STILL every day I was pulling those no larger than a pencil point black dot that explodes with blood when you squish them between your fingernails nymph ticks off of him.And the dog jumps up in the bed while I’m asleep, I started waking up with an intensely itchy papular rash every morning. Woke up several nights too, felt like my skin was crawling.My dog has mostly white fur so ticks are easy to spot. So I used the flea comb and went all over- especially areas covered with black fur. Scraped a lot of ‘dander’ off.The magnifying glass included in this kit is low power but I have a cheap pocket botany microscope that I bought on Amazon so I put it to use. The ‘dander’ was actually sheets of eggs looking like rows of polka dots. Those millimeter sized pencil dots, under magnification, were swollen little bodies with legs sticking out frantically trying to escape.Got an appointment with the dermatologist and the vet tomorrow but I think I diagnosed the problem. We are both clearing up just after removing the source.So I highly recommend this kit. If you need proof beyond squishing the blood engorged nymphs, get a pocket microscope too.

All orders are insured, tracked and shipped with DHL or delivered on one of our company vehicles.

Items Damaged In Transit

If any items were damaged in transit, your rights will be affected unless you report it to us within 48 hours. If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, you should sign the carrier’s delivery note accordingly.

Subject to our Terms & Conditions, once the damaged goods are received back at our distribution centre, we’ll issue a replacement or credit note and full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs.

If immediate replacements are required we will invoice you for these goods.

 

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order please email [email protected] as soon as possible. We will refund all payments less any carriage charges incurred within 7 days. If an order has shipped, you will need to return it unopened, once we receive the goods back in good condition we will refund the payment minus the shipping and a 25% re-stocking fee.

Returns

All returns must be in the original packaging and all items un-used or un-opened within 7 days of receipt. Once goods are returned a refund less carriage and re stocking charges will be issued within 7 days providing you have informed us in writing within the 7 day period post delivery date. We offer free telephone support to customers for printing techniques and colour profile settings. An operators inability or lack of knowledge in these matters is not acceptable as a reason for return. A re-stocking charge of 25% will apply for consumables, equipment returns will be considered on an individual basis but will be subject to charges and a re stocking fee of 25%. We are not responsible for any waste created or wet parts (parts that touch ink) damaged by operator error.

Ink

We cannot refund or exchange ink cartridges / bottles that have been opened, so please ensure any ink you purchase is the correct ink for your system.
