Description RO Membranes The Germicidal Core of 0.0001 Micron Water Purification Reverse Osmosis (RO) membranes are the “heart” of any pure water system, acting as a sophisticated molecular barrier. Utilizing a Thin-Film Composite (TFC) multi-layered structure, these membranes achieve an incredibly fine filtration level of 0.0001 micron—a precision that standard filters cannot match. This allows the system to expel up to 98% of dissolved salts, heavy metals, bacteria, and viruses, providing the safest possible drinking water. Features High Contaminant Rejection: Effectively removes Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Lead, Arsenic, Fluoride, and pathogens. TFC Technology: Built with a Polyamide layer for filtration, supported by Polysulfone and Polyester layers for maximum pressure resistance and durability. Versatile Capacities: Available in various GPD (Gallons Per Day) ratings to suit residential or light commercial needs. Universal Compatibility: Fits standard RO membrane housings used in 5-stage and 7-stage systems. Trusted Quality: We supply high-performance membranes from industry-leading brands including Sinoflow, Vontron, and Linki. Selection Guide: Finding Your GPD Capacity The GPD rating indicates how many gallons of purified water the membrane can produce in a 24-hour period under optimal conditions (25°C and 3.5Bar pressure). SKU Capacity Best For Application FM50 50 GPD Standard Residential Standard 5/7-Stage RO Systems FM75 75 GPD Higher Flow Residential Large Families / Fast Tank Refill FM100 100 GPD High Demand High-output home systems FM400A 400 GPD Light Commercial Tankless RO / (Size 3012) FM400B 400 GPD Light Commercial Tankless RO / (Size 3013) How It Works The Molecular Sieve: High-pressure water is forced against the semi-permeable TFC membrane. Only pure water molecules are small enough to pass through the Polyamide layer. The Rejection Stream: Dissolved impurities are washed away to the drain (wastewater), preventing them from ever reaching your glass. The Result: Ultra-pure water suitable for drinking, laboratory use, aquariums, and sensitive medical processes. Maintenance & Service Life To protect your membrane and ensure it lasts 1 to 3 years, you must replace your sediment and carbon pre-filters every 6–12 months. Signs it is time to replace your RO Membrane: Reduced Flow: The storage tank takes significantly longer to fill than usual. Increased TDS: Your water starts showing higher Total Dissolved Solids readings on a TDS meter. Taste Change: A return of saltiness or chemical taste in the purified water. What’s in the Box? 1 x RO Membrane Cartridge (Sealed in protective vacuum packaging) Important Note for 400 GPD Users Before purchasing a 400 GPD membrane, please check your current membrane size code. Size 3012 (approx. 12 inches) and 3013 (approx. 13 inches) are NOT interchangeable.
